UNA LUZ DE ESPERANZA

So for those of you who were at the Young Adult Christmas party, you were blessed to hear a wonderful presentation by two beautiful women of God, Lily Figueroa and Cecilia Flores.

Many of you even had the chance to buy some rosaries and bracelets from them either at the party or beforehand.

These are the ones that I bought:

Simply beautiful.

For those that weren't there here is a brief explanation from Cece's site:

Mission: Our mission is to improve the quality of life of women by forming them in their Catholic faith, helping them to receive an education, providing them with a means to support themselves and their families through basic skills development, and above all, witnessing Christ to them, in them, and through them.

Vision: Our vision is that in accomplishing our mission we will see the dignity of women restored. We hope to be a source of healing, a source of strength and grace to women living in poverty: materially, spiritually emotionally. To be a light of hope.

Cece's Personal reflection:
This ministry means the world to me. Having the privelege to be a part of these women’s lives has been a challenge yet a freedom. Their strength in the midst of chaos is inspiring, and though I am supposedly a missionary coming to them, they do not realize that they are missionaries to me, as they bring God’s love and hope to me each time I am with them or think of them. Please keep these beautiful women, their children, and their families in your prayers.
Good stuff. Please support. Tell your friends.

If you want more information you can visit the UNA LUZ DE ESPERANZA website or Cece's Blog.

If you want to buy some rosaries or bracelets click here. And there's a link for Cece's email there, shoot her an email and she'll take care of you.
